Had a look in Buntings today for that sail rope stuff you guys go on about for making your screens couldn't find anything that I thought it would like like any pics of what it looks like

What screens are you talking about Dot? I got rope for the awning I am making to go in the sail track. Rope was with the shadecloth in both BUnnings & Masters. Also got my Butterfly clips Terry- thanks for that.

It's just nylon rope Dottie, take a piece of sailtrack with you and find a rope that's a reasonably loose fit, so it will still slide through with the material wrapped around it.

Butterfly clips, of course, buggered if I could think of a name for them but that explains them perfectly. The annex we made for the kombi uses extendable tent poles, just modified, by looping shower curtain rings through the butterfly clips we could easily hang the shade cloth up for walls, it worked quite well, cut any wind to a breeze and was reasonably rain resistant, it only came through as a light mist.

George went to the vets this morning to sort out the pussy cats tablets and while he was there a man bought in a beautiful cat and her 4 kittens,, she and her babies had been dumped down the creek.. What is the matter with these human ferals..

Three bedrooms done & dusted, laundry, spare bathroom & loo now waiting for a certain person to get off phone & trolley 2 filing cabinets into garage so that I can attack the office. Even had to use my little van twin tub this morning as other one in storage.

1130hrs put a batch of scones in the oven and right on noon a nice looking MH pulls up out front and out jumps this fella named Steve W. Inside we go have a couple of cups of tea a nd some scones jam & cream then off out to the bus when we get another car load of visitors... 4 dogs woofing and a bald fella and his lovely wife also came for a coffee or 4 and scones and chatter.. now 1700hrs and we have just waved the dogs and slaves off and also Steve has hit the road as well.. Another face to a forum name. Steve please tell your wife that I was impressed with how clean and tidy you had kept your motorhome... Got to get wits about me now because we have to go to the airport tomorrow to pick up the flying ram and his ewey..

He is here, picked him and his wife up at 10am then off to Ikea for breakfast and a look around then home.. Now he is going to go for a brisk walk around the block because his legs are a jumpin..
