It is so dam HOT just put the air con on and will spend the rest of the day watching the tennis. The birds are getting the frequent water baths as they feel the heat as well. It was 48deg in the shed at 1300hrs.

We only get 6 and abit cents Dot . We have 3 kw it has halved our bill . We only use the big power users when we have 1kw in at the moment that happens around 8am . So if Carol wants to put the washing machine that's when it happens .Also the aircon same deal . I wish we had put 5kw when we had it installed .

If it was me I wouldn't bother increasing it.
Spend the money on batteries instead & (eventually) give the power companies the flick.

Got a quote today to upgrade the solar system, we have a 1kw system up and get 50cent back to the grid, when / if we go for the bigger one then the tariff rate back to the grid drops to 10 - 12 cents ??? what do you lot reckon??

The question is really not about rebate but about how much electricity you won't have to buy.
