Wow Janelle thats a lot of work for two people wouldn't it be good if centre link sent some of these young people out to help the farmers they would come back with a different outlook on life I guess for the farmers it could be more trouble than it is worth Do you and your hubby live on the farm to help or do you spend time there through out the year Where was your dairy farm

Morning Janelle yes I was on the land retired to town now
Have daughter and SIL still running cattle
Implants are used down this way to id stock.

Hi Helen,
We live on one of the stations and look after waters, fences and some grader work. We don’t do any cattle work. Jock at 69 reckons he has done his time in the yards and I’d probably fall over my own fat self!
Hi Bob,
They use electronic eartags here. I reckon implants would be better because rogues can cut out tags and replace with their own but I’ve been told implants can be cut out too.
Where did you farm and what did you run?

We have spent the last couple of days at Camden Haven Showgrounds it is at Kendall just of the hwy., from Kew, NSW, $10 pp per night, good hot showers, great place for a couple of days R & R.

don't think I have ever been called Dhirley before, I use to call myself Thirley before I learnt to say Sh., I am told.
Yes David it has been unreal just getting away in the Coaster, it is over 12 mths., since we have used it, definitely have to leave the family & get away more often.
Must say I have enjoyed playing championship bowls being at home but would rather be out & about.
We have to be home next week for Drs., apps., think we will head back up the Hunter Valley then for a few days.
We get calls each night to see where we are & what we are up to, having a laugh reversal roll we think
