We have travelled such a long way today to get away from tonight's stupidity, we are parked up at our usual short trip place, Monarto sporting complex. Shady trees and a nice cool breeze drifting through the bus until Gman turned the gas on
, geeeze thought someone had had an accident..

Well I hope that everyone managed to have the New Years Eve that they were looking for. Back to work tomorrow for some of us. Bugger!!!

Ours was a quiet NYE.
SWMBO retired at 2100. I persevered.
Spent the night flicking channels from Sydney to Melbourne parties.
Melbourne had a dozen or so tall buildings pretending to be candles.
Sydney had a bridge and a harbour fully involved in an imaginative display.
IMO, Sydney won the bragging rights.

Total rubbish, just watched the best show that has been on tv for the past 12 mths i.e. the Edinburgh Tattoo. Used to watch it with mum and dad and when it gets to that dam Old Lang Syne the old eyes well up
Oh well that's it for another year.

Had another great New Yrs with Bruce & Wendy, Graeme and Della, Brian, Margaret and myself on Bruce & Wendy's houseboat, I'm guessing the last one on this houseboat as they collect their new one in a few weeks.
It was such a good night I didn't surface until around mid day yesterday in time to watch most of the replay of the New Yrs Eve Big Bash game in Adelaide, then had to go back for a few hrs catch up so I could stay awake to see the back to back Big Bash games
Back to work today, looking like a rather busy yr with trips back to Sydney, to Crystal Brook for more additions to the off grid system and maybe another houseboat system if they decide to go ahead quick enough and a few quotes for other off grid systems on top of what is already booked in ........ I want another holiday just thinking about it
