Also going to get his big mulcher in to do the stuff we cut down.. Also had a ph call from the lady boss from Ikea, we had a cold meal last week and so I complained, she was great and is now going to send out a couple of free meal tickets as well as kick some butt. See no harm in being an old winger, nice to know someone listens.. George has spent a good hr trying to de grease the kitchen extractor fan (not the motor part) from the little house, have tried, truck degreaser liquid, the spray, sugar soap, bleach, lemon and white vinegar, and last but not least boiling water .. all these have been in vain so we shall do the best we can and might end up putting a new one in as it stinks of greasy curry. I have had a bit better success with the plastic cover but I have had to scrape the stuff off with a Stanley knife to get a start on it.. Bloody tenants 2 days work from us again for nix. Still raining and the trees etc are all singing "Here comes the rain"
Easy Off Bam Degreaser with the green handle, from Woolies and the like, spray it on, wipe off with a paper towel, may take a few goes but it will cut through the grease and bring it back to shiny stainless steel.

Where is everyone? not a peep from anyone for hrs now. either you are all in bed asleep or are out on the town wooping it up. Not fair I tell you, not fair. Guess it is time for a cuppa and a biccy and maybe a nice game of scrabble with myself while the old fella is snoring his head off with his pussy purring on his knee. Or I could go and start the dishwasher or do some more curry washing , maybe I might go down to see if there has been a death of a mouse. I could even rock a few roofs on my way home, a brown eye at the cop car doing his rounds, tip a rubbish bin over or do a bit of graffiti on some garage doors, bomb a mailbox, put some doggie doo doo on a front door step!! possibilities for a Saturday night are endless. I am sooooo bored, I might even try this ironing thing Ros speaks so highly of.

Oh No not you as well? Mars attacks v Die Hard v Face off v Lost in Space. Typical Sat night with the TV = nothing that hasn't been on before time and time again. Guess who is still snoring and now dribbling too

It's probably the 4th or 5th time I've watched it on the box.
It's still a hoot!
Love the Slim Whitman Solution!!!
Turned the box off when the credits rolled. Finished reading Gallipoli Letter, the story of Keith Murdoch's 25 page letter to Oz PM and longtime friend, Andrew Fisher with his blunt observations on conditions & morale in the Dardanelles. Amazing letter!
Regards & God bless,

I spent the morning down at the house repainting the dents around the door frames, will do the kitchen cupboards tomorrow and we also got stuck into the garden, so far have about 2 trailers full of grass/weeds and cuttings. Any ideas of how to destink the place gratefully received.
