Well, I wouldn’t go quite that far, Dottie!
However, on the ‘pooter (laptop) the forum remembers me every time, no probs.
However, iPhone is a different kettle of poisson altogether.
Login is required EVERY time I open it.

What about when it was one disk in to start the computer, swap it to run a word processor, then swap it again to save the data. Seemed good in 1985.

I remember that well and still have an Osborne Executive, 200mb/drive and 128k of memory.
