Hi. - 2.5 Wed. night - 2.2 last night and a couple of -2.0's coming up. I bet there is a lot of places that can beat that. At least our days are are lovely and sunny.

Still cold nights up here.

We've just had our first day of sun for at least a week, had quite a bit of rain during that time and everything is very wet. Can't go into the paddocks on the tractors, will only make a mess. Lovely day made it to 9deg so far, starting to cool down, decided to stop work as was in the shade and the temp was 2deg. Making pelmets for the filled in veranda, had to wait till the moisture dried up before staring and my workshop is overflowing so can't work in there at the moment. Now I've started, will make pelmets for all the house windows. Looks like we will get another day of sun, before the rain comes back.

Large storm going hit us and up to Gympie, slow moving.

Monday morning there was ice on Cuppa & Julie's Tvan and solar panels parked on the front at the house, this morning there is a warm breeze blowing through and all the washing is dry on the back patio line rather than frozen stiff ...... gotta say I much prefer the warm breeze

Frosts in Rutherglen the past few days...
Caught some of the wildlife unawares.
Our semi-tame magpie Maggie landed on our wine barrel to partake of her regulation morning treat and skidded the full width of the top on the ice. Only the barrel lip stopped her going a-over-t over the side! 🤭
She was a little more cautious next day & landed on the lip to wait for the treats. Maggie at (unfrosted) breakfast.

When the sun finally produced the sunlight you could see the mist moving in through the trees. Rained lastnight and light showers this morning. Overcast at the moment so not sure whay will happen. Morning was nice cool again but not cold.

Been here 17 years and this is the most days of rain midyear I can remembers.

23* here today with north winds. Cooler again over the next week but no frosts forecast. Still very dry and no rain in sight.
