What's wrong with you Bruce? Can't you understand Dotspeak.  or maybe I have had too many reds tonight.
It should make perfect sense to anyone that knows our dear young Dorothy, as George loves to call her.
Helen is a bit crook and got a crap hairdo.
Dot got ripped off at the flower place, and someone that we know has parked a gay little caravan in the yard. I think that we need a pic of the van though. Maybe it is a bit Prisicillaish in it's appearance   .
If you or I had been through what Dot has, I reckon that we wouldn't know which way was up.

You younger boys got the ramble spot on :) Maybe you understand the "symptoms"
We are after all in the Banal thread after all. But what I did leave out is what happened at the hairdressers, There I was sitting in front of the mirror chatting away as we girls do when I realised by the confusion on the hairdressers face she had not figured out what I had just said (this happens a lot when I speak lately)  So to crack the ice at her obvious embaressment I started to do my naughty act of playing up to the actions as if I had a really bad stroke, immediately she got the joke and so I started to repeat what she didn't understand but this time very slowly  Sorry if I may of "offended" anyone here re the stroke remark but this is also a fact of life. Anyway there you go another episode in the day of Dorothy :)

Dot wrote: Thu Aug 02, 2018 6:03 pm Today I had to get out of the house so off to where all females go I went (with no Beau in sight) to the hairdressers of course :D While I was getting the frazzled dropping out strands tidied up a bit I mentioned to my hairdresser that the person that cut Helens hair didn't really do a good enough job as what she asked for but Helen wasn't comfy with saying anything . Upshot of this is, the other girl is new there and she has some "issues" ?? so the outcome Helen gets a free haircut from my hairdresser :) So Monday Helen and I are off for a "girls" day out to do what ever we want or need to do with no men to be heard groaning in the background, shuffling of feet, saying "I'm hungry", are we going home yet?

While I was out some one sort of "known to us here" person left a homosexual caravan in the yard  George being George even asked the nice man and lady inside for cuppa and a biscuit then they headed off in their car to pastures closer to town. Hmmmm who could they be?? Is it sexist to call a van a "homosexual" ??? Arh who cares

When I was checking my receipt and putting the stuff away I noticed a mistake (overcharged) so I rang the store to tell them, so as we are passing by tomorrow we shall drop in to sort it out. They charged me for 4 plants instead of 2.
What a whinging day I have had but at least the businesses' have been good to deal with.
Not sexist, homophobic Dottie. What is it about the van that caused you to give it that tag? There isn't an issue with the draw-bar and the rear of another van is there?

I always thought of those vans as being " a cute little van " Now because of Dot I will always think of them quite differently now.

Well, let me tell you about our first caravan. A tiny 12foot, pop top one with a rear door. We proudly managed to park it up in a caravan park for our first night in it, to have a lovely couple declare "oh we started off with a poofter van too".

That did take the shine off the feeling of being real nomads. It also took us a while to understand why the gave it such a name. It was a good first van, but way too small for us. We slowly graduated from the 12 footer to our current huge van that's 16 feet long. This one isn't a poofter van I can assure you all of that.

Eminently logical nonclamenture, Dottie...
Homo/Queer/Poofter van = rear entry. :?
Simple! 8-)

Hope your happy pills are working. Sounds like they are. :P
