A van build appeals, Toyota Hiace Commuter, Iveco 35S14 on the list but scares me a bit. Isuzu, good but slow and fuel thirsty I think. I must admit that a 12 Ft off rd caravan is a consideration but I doubt I could physical do the on and off too well. I like the Elfs and sml Japanese imports.

Our old npr 250 isuzu which had similar engine to the elf was good for 18 to 22 l per 100 diesel.
Fuel is the least of the costs!
