One question at a time please & once the person asking the question is happy with the answer they'll say "next question please" & anyone can chime in with the next question. (fun, fun, fun!)

Outside pavers (concrete)

Post by Dot »

Anyone have any ideas why the concrete pavers out in the weather have developed "acne" It is a white spot as it bleach has been spilt and the colour has been bleached out of them. Even using the karcher on them doesn't get rid of the spots??? :?

We have it too Dot on the cheap nasty concrete pavers. Pretty sure it's rising salt.
We turned ours over on the front of the house but it's starting again.
Only answer is to replace with clay brick type I think.

Oh thanks for that, those pavers have cost us twice, very expensive cheap & nasty pavers, might paint the buggers or cover with gravel.

Dot do you know what they are bedded in/on?
We found if we use crusher dust that the moisture goes away quicker & they dry out quicker & you don't get so much deteriation. (Spell checker goes cranky at that word! Ray?)
I think T1 calls it roadbase or something? They're a bit diff over there!!!
