The greatest fear of all, the WDH failing and the towball comes free, then all bets are off and you become a passenger till the ride finishes. I had a trailer shatter the coupling once, no idea what caused it, but after that towing anything more than a box trailer behind anything smaller than a truck became my chosen combination.

Look at the A-frame. The hitch [Admin:modified with permission] has made contact with the A-frame at some time previously in it's lifetime.

Steve before you make statements like the one you did please check your facts . That damage on the draw bar was done during the accident was damage free prior to leaving home We believe the hitch snapped and caused a great deal of havic from what a witness said
