They are Apple versions of favicon.
I see that error in the logs for my website too and one day I might get around to putting some suitable image there to keep the fruity ones happy. The lack of them shouldn't cause any problems and the apple device should just use a default image if it can't find any.

Just the oddballs wanting to be different (ducking for cover).

Not sure what size it should be but I think the fruity device will resize it depending on the device. (old or new)

Chuck is it only for photos that have been uploaded via that "PostImage" facility or for the ones also uploaded via the forum software?
The PostImage one is the only one has the Chick-a-babes on the bottom.
