For Sale - Nissan Civilian, Suzuki Toad & spares - SOLD

Post by Cuppa »

Nissan Civilian (W40) treasure trove for sale. SOLD

I exchanged emails with a chap (Geoff) who had a great interest in Nissan Civilians. The last time I was exchanging emails with him he had had engine troubles with his motorhome & had decided to replace the motor. I then didn’t hear from him again. Many months later I heard from his wife to let me know that he had unexpectedly passed away & that she was now left with an engine-less Civilian but felt that she wanted to complete what her husband had begun. Thus she was going to ensure the bus was brought back to the condition her husband had planned.

Move forward about 12 months & this has now occurred. The bus has been professionally fitted with a factory turboed FD33T motor which has only ever done 50,000kms. The motorhome itself is currently being detailed.

The motorhome is now up for sale, along with an A framed Suzuki & a hoard of Civilian spares. Marion would prefer to sell the spares as a job lot, but will consider offers for individual parts. She would also prefer to sell the motorhome & Suzuki as a complete unit, but again will consider splitting them if asked.

I have agreed to assist by posting what she has for sale on forums, but you you will need to ask her any questions. I have advised her on other places to also advertise but inteested folks here get first opportunity.

Marion is in Upwey, Victoria, where the bus, Suzuki & spares would need to be collected from. She can be contacted on 0413519053.

That's a lot of gear there Cuppa, has Marion set a price for the whole package?

Hi Terry,

Haven’t checked back here for a while.
No fixed price for all the spares. Tbh, I think she’s a bit unrealistic about her price for the motorhome & toad, although I suspect it’s an opening gambit & she might be open to more realistic offers. She’s now got it on Gumtree.

From what she’s told me I reckon she might accept any reasonable offer on the spares as a job lot. However she’s had someone else in her ear telling her the value of of individual items. I told her that’s all very well, but you need a customer willing to pay the price. All I can say to anyone interested in any of the spares is to give her call & see what you can work out.

Like anything, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

If no-one wants it, it's worth nothing.
