Our Journey of a different type for 2015

The CAT scans are fairly easy going, I find the wommawooma clack clack ninni ninni wrrr wrr clunk clunk MRI machine sends me to sleep, but that could be to do with working in heavy industry for too long Good luck and stay strong, the head can beat anything the body tries to throw at it if the mind is strong enough so staying strong is the key, all our thoughts and good vibes are with you all... it is a team effort

Hi everyone , I have another update and this time it is with a some good news for a change, Kiara had another CT Scan at the halfway make of her intense 12 weeks of Chemo and we received her results yesterday and we are over the moon the questionable spot on her liver cannot be found so they are giving the liver the all clear and the mass on her chest (which they still can't decide if its in the lymph system or lung) ?? has shrunk considerably in size after just six treatments. Kiara had her 7th round of Chemo on Monday and now has only 5 to go before Chemo will be finished, then more plans will be made as to what is next in the treatment plan. It was great to receive some good news after so many months of bad news. Our journey still has a long way to go but feeling a little bit more positive now.
Her workmates held a Trivia Fundraiser for her on Saturday night to enabled her to tick a few things off her bucket list and the night was a massive success and to witness the over whelming love and support she is receiving is amazing it has blown us away, she received some amazing surprises on the night, one being a personally signed Wolverine Poster by Hugh Jackman himself he also signed a very large one which was auctioned off on the night, also her much loved Collingwood football club presented her with a signed jumper of the 2015 team. Ivan and I also received a lovely gift of a 2 night stay in a B&B over in Hepburn Springs we are really looking forward to the little R&R just have to get over our chest infections we have been fighting for a number of weeks.
Travel safe everyone and life is good at the moment.

Great news, keep up the good fight and the team will beat this thing. Great to heard her friends and sporting club has been there for you all as well, that feeling of being loved and supported goes a long way in the healing efforts
