If you was in God's country they would be delivered free to the front yard, still attached to the sections of fence. A local fencing contractor is often looking for some where to off load a truck full of fence he has removed, we are still getting through last yrs deliveries so we have had to knock them back as we have run out of back yard to stack them... and time to run them through the saw to reduce them to wood heater size. 5 pieces with a tek screw through them makes a log that burns for around an hr, dig the tek screws out of the ashes and reuse them 8-)

Sorry Phil, cant help. Our fence is colourbond, so no need to send it to you!

Have you phoned any fencing contractors near you? Could be worth a call, if not we had a lot of jetty planks floating around the lake after the big storms. You may still find some at the edge of any waterways near you. We fished all of our planks out and re-screwed them back to the jetty, other people might not have been so environmentally aware!

Happy fence post hunting.

Wrong state Phil. Best to gather up the wood pallets and do the nail removing. They are usually a give away item. :)

Phil are you after the fancy ones with the pretty shaped tops or just plain ones?
New or 2nd hand? 2nd hand would be split/cracked in most of them.
I'll check with rellies down South. They used to get cheap treated pine ones cut from mill offcuts.

I don't want good ones so condition doesn't matter as long as they not treated timber

I'm curious what ya gonna do with'em Phil........ :)

I've got a shed in the backyard here I've been talking about paling cladding for 10yrs.........hasn't happened yet, but I will be doing the shed in Drouin when we move down there.

I'm sure local fencers would be glad to drop some on your nature strip FoC ;)

 What a good idea :!:

Pallets too heavy ?
Some of the pine ones should be OK.

Some inspiration for you here, these are pallets, but lots ovit would work with palings as well ;)
