The fluffy little ducklings grow into big ducks that crap all over our paths & lawns, need to kill all the clover that they come feasting upon.

Shirley we have more trouble with them "black chooks" as I call them. They pull up any sort of lawn to get at the softer roots/stems.
They hold it in their feet at rip it to pieces. Marook, SA is notorious for them. Gotta take your shoes off every time you walk outside and return.

Not these ones Shirley, one day you might see ten babies the next day nine then find a python with a bulge in the middle and mother duck missing, most of the time they are lucky to finish up with one young 'un at the end of the season.Shirley wrote:The fluffy little ducklings grow into big ducks that crap all over our paths & lawns, need to kill all the clover that they come feasting upon.

Think I have mentioned it before we have two big white geese resident down on the reserve near our village shops been here for years, how they haven't been run over or taken by a fox amazes me, guess they must of been someone's pets because they certainly wouldn't been native to the area.
