Jack's leaving home.

Post by shonky »

Hi, all.

It grieves me to say that as Mrs shonky's health has taken a downturn we're buying into a retirement village which regrettably does not allow dogs.
Should any reader in the Tweed to Coolangatta area consider that Jack, an eleven year old Jack Russell would improve their lives please send a p.m. FYI Jack's an excellent traveller and a great companion.
See you on the back roads,

I am so sorry to hear that things have gone down hill and that Mr Jack isn't allowed. What a horrid thing to make people get rid of their animals. I hope you find a loving home for the little fella. :(

That sucks... :(
We are currently without our ratbag and we miss him lots. At least we know we will get to catch up with him again..

That is sad to hear. I will ask the blokes at work.
All the best to Mrs Shonky.

All the best Shonky, sad you are losing your little mate. Hope all goes well with Mrs S. Are you keeping the M/H?

Hi, all.

Rob - yes, we're keeping the motorhome, and we'll be delaying his farewell for as long as possible, naturally. We'll be on the road from time to time, depending on Mrs shonky's health.

Hi Shonky, have you got a family member or a very close friend that could take Mr Jack rather than a stranger? he will think his world has collapsed, poor wee man.

Hi, all.

Dot - I'm working on it. Possibly Jack and I will be going on holiday for 3 weeks or so after we've obtained title while Mrs shonky has a well-deserved rest.
Then maybe I'll see how she is. As a matter of interest the sale includes all furniture and a small car rigged as a toad.
