Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Sunny and warm day, hardly any traffic on freeway, in the Drs for 3 minutes and back on the road to home. Doesn't get better than that. Dr told me the MRI results and advised the steroid jab (R ankle) he gave a sneaky smile as he knows how I feel about steroid jabs but I will put it off until I speak to the Rheumatologist. Noticed on the way home the speed limit was down to 80 but no one was doing 80 except from me doing 83 then a dam B double zoomed past everyone, he must of been the brother of the unlicensed guy that crashed into cars at the bottom of the hill a couple of days ago. Why do the roads people leave their signs up well after the works have been done and dusted?? Deborah you got the good spot near the ladies loos.Hope the weather treats you kind. Early night so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Erich & Lesley x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, tonight I actually have filled in the application form for Sapphire and sent off the money. Obviously, as long as we get there in time, we will be at Sapphire. We had sunshine and frozen winds, no Tshirts today either, ugg boots and long sleeves were essential. Glad the specialist had good news. xxxx
The Ridge was an interesting place today. Many of our regular mates dropped by and had a chat. The usual food providers were nowhere to be found. The local diving club usually make delicious soups and have home made biscuits and slices for reasonable prices. The local lions club brings out their trailer and make a yummo BBQ. Neither was to be found today, not sure if they will come tomorrow, but our usual lunch was not to be had. His nibs had to return to the van and make us some lunch and coffee. The only coffee van that was coming has broken down somewhere. Obviously our catering was not bad, just not as delicious or interesting, as we were expecting.
Trading was slow, but still it's good to be out of home and doing some travel and meeting peoples.
Another thing to think of: Definitely applies to my business. Feel free to share

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
OD’d on classics tonight.
Last Night of the Proms @ Albert Hall (2021), followed by the SSO giving us (live performance) Mahler’s 2nd Symphony to celebrate the reopening of the (refurbished) Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.
I’m blissed out!
Can’t top that,
(well, maybe with the 1812…)
so it’s goodnight from me,
and it’s goodnight from him.

Enjoy the escape to the block Dot. Poor Brian must have a sexual personality disorder, if he doesn't like a pink bed. It will be covered in dusty footprints, soon enough. xxxx
Good to see you finally got to give those balls a workout Shirley.
No rain at the Ridge, it's just flamin cold. We usually live in Tshirts here in July, but not this year. My ugg boots are not leaving my feet, the cement floor in the hall is way too cold for me . The customers are very sparce and those that come in are not spending much at all. All the traders have said the same, maybe all the talk of price rises and cost of living etc has frightened people from buying stuff. What we did sell was amazing. A couple of coral bowls, a crater bowl, a hairclip, a bobby pin and a couple of pendants. It certainly felt weird with that sort of sales during the day. We aren't losing money, but it has been an experience unlike other years at The Ridge. Two more trading days, so will wait and see how it flows.

Hope Brian is enjoying his escapade with you Dot xxxx
Another super slow day, but the total at the end of the day was good. I met a man who has just bought a house only a block away from the lair. The distances that we travel to meet new neighbours. Anyway, he bought a coral bowl that I created in aboriginal colours. He was so pleased with it. About half an hour later, a lady came over and said that she hates the bowl that he bought and would I do an exchange? I talked her out of that, just because he was so pleased with himself. A little while later he returned, not to return the bowl but to have another look at the other bowls. He really likes another of the bigger bowls and thinks he will return tomorrow. It will be interesting to see which one returns, if either of them do return. Definitely an interesting situation. Good for a few laughs anyway.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Got to the block and was greeted by a plover that was sitting on 3 eggs right in the middle of the yard so we sprayed the weeds around the eggs and put a few bricks around so people wouldn't walk on them. Also sprayed the shed and murdered a few dangling red backs. Had a cuppa then headed to the op shop, I got a new cardigan $2, 3 CD's @ 50c ea, and 5 glass vases (big ones) to do some more terrariums. Called into a friends place at Birdwood ,he wasn't home as he was diagnosed with Covid last Sunday and couldn't go to Neil Curls funeral on Monday, he went to his river house which is next door to Curls house but he will get to join in the ashes going into the Murray out the front of the house. Needless to say we didn't go up to see him. Deborah I can't understand people that buy something they like and someone else says YUCK and expect them to return it for something they want, I would keep the one I liked and the other one could buy the one they liked. Those coral bowls are great. I had porridge for tea and custard for pudding, how exciting was that? Jealous are we? Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Wayno x
