Hey,
Anyone near Rutherglen like to come to a barbecue at our place tomorrow?
There will be plenty of meat... SWMBO just told me not to commit her to anything tomorrow as she'll be cooking four lions!

...

Er, wait...

Maybe she meant "cooking FOR Lions" ...
The club... Of which she is a member.

OOPS!

INVITATION WITHDRAWN!
:D

Is that what they call a "Clayton's Invitation" Ray?
Never liked lion anyway...... just too damn tough!
You mobile yet Ray or still confined to weeding gardens?
I mean are you driving & climbing those darn steps into the Palace?

They might need a dentist from America to slay the lion.

Bruce,
You'll have to bring your own soft drinks. We only serve wine in Rutherglen. :D
I'm progressing with the mobility.
Graduated to occasional use of a walking stick, but it's tiring & I need to revert to the wheely-walker to rest. Distributes weight across both arms, rather than 100% on my dodgy left arm.
Also got behind the wheel again last week. Short trips around town to check my coordination, then one-way to Albury. SWMBO drove the return leg.
Tried climbing Girt's steps this week. Quite a production. Got there, but was a bit nervous & wobbly on the walking stick. Will keep practicing.
Slowly progressing.
Hoping to escape somewhere in Girt in February. After schools resume. ;)
