It's in the Atherton Tablelands, no wonder it's raining. I just read up about it, sounds beautiful..... 'the rolling lush hills of Ravenshoe in the Atherton Tablelands, approximately 1.5 hours drive north west of Cairns. A small community known as Queenslands highest township, centrally located between the lush side of the tablelands and the semi arid plains of the Savannah.'

Just camped for a few days before heading for Mareeba for Xmas in July festivities. And still raining now. Only a very fine mist.

It is Janelle but at a lower altitude than chilly Ravenshoe. The road between Ravenshoe and Mareeba is a Mecca for motorcyclists. The sweeping bends or twisties as we call them are a treat to ride. And I am sure Peter that would agree, the scenery is superb and constantly changing.

No they are camped here at Beaufort Vic, it's 1 degree here.
