Cheap Avida wount $70 WTF I to know da brand to get all da fittin guff so if I replace it ,I wood get some thing similar. Now that's as clear as mud.

If you're just after a standard AM/FM radio aerial any auto parts place would be able to help you Brian.
Any chance of a pic of the existing aerial ?

If it's a CB tingo, does it have to be tuned like in the old days ...???
My aerial had a Allen key and a bit a coat hanger ya slid up and down if ya had a mate wiff a box dodad to get the best signal...???

No need to tune a UHF aerial, just buy the one best suited to your application.
Any radio supplier should be able to advise on that.
