Re: The Big Dig
They really are stunning, Dot. We used to have a set as bookends. I guess they went in the garage sale when we moved to Switzerland in '97.
Cheers

Re: The Big Dig
Thanks Dot. I love them so much that they are in pride of place with my dragon collection. The grandkids love just rolling them in their hands and playing "find the matching rock" which is a hoot, because some of them dont have a pair because we found some half rocks in the piles of rocks.

Re: The Big Dig
Lorraine is sitting on her thunder egg till we get to your place Dot , we're both looking forward to seeing what's inside when G cuts it. Thought we will share it with you and G and both have a half, hope it's as nice as some of the submitted photos, if not, well a rock is a rock and I'm sure we'll find some one to chuck it at .............sorry share it with.
BTW it's a lot quieter around here with Lorraine sitting on the thunder egg, rather than her demonically possessed mobile phone.

Whe I was employed on the construction of Chaffey Dam, near Tamworth, they were found in large numbers amongst the rock used for the wall.
