supersparky wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2019 6:37 pm Dot + all, I have a confession to make. Terrie and I have already been married for almost 10 years. It appears that some buffoon that has ZERO skill with Facebook managed to somehow push some button that made FB think that yesterday was the big day.
Luckily for me, now that I stuffed that up, I can remember that our anniversary is next month!  I am not having any fun working out how FB works. Is there a 101 for FB virgins?
Yes David, DELETE the bloody thing.
If that was only possible. I accidently joined up 10yrs ago and haven't been able to escape its clutches since. I haven't posted on it for a very long time but that doesn't seem to stop it emailing me about some crap or another.

A scammer pretending to be a family member trying to contact me. Once on you can't get off it seems

It took me a while to get into Facebook too.
I use it very seldom for chatting with friends etc but I've found that some of the local "Buy, Swap & Sell" groups are very good for picking up bargains & to get rid of unwanted items.
Was going to cost $50 or so to get rid of a mattress at the dump but I got $20 for it in just 3 hours.
I also put it on "marketplace" as well at the same time.
