Format style changed?
Bruce, the way the forum appears on my phone has changed. It now appears with the blue background and looks exactly the same as the format appeared on the puter. Up until yesterday the phone version appeared yellow and brown/orange and the style was different. Is it something that I have done or is it an update? If it is a me thing, how do I fix it?
Cheers

It has also changed on my laptop, windows 10 and Chrome. From Home (Board Index) there isn't a link to Unread Posts etc.

Re: Format style changed?
OK, Guilty as charged Your Honor!!
The Forum hadn't been updated for quite some time and I kept getting warning messages that a 'hole' had been found that, potentially, could allow hackers to create havoc.
So what do I do knowing that as usual, an update will break some (a lot?) of the little extras that I've added over the years?
Firstly the forum was still running version 3.1.0 from memory & the latest (release candidate) one is 3.3.0.
Expecting problems I disabled ALL addons which in phpBB Forum talk are "Extensions".
Once I deleted 99.5% of the files on the server & then uploaded all the new ones I attempted to open the forum.
OK, got a message that version 3.3.0 will only run on PHP version 7 or above. (PHP is a part of the server that executes instructions to enable functions that eventually allow the page to display on the persons computer)
So, OK, go into the server & chose to activate the latest version of PHP. (7.3.33)
Forum works good with all basic & expected items working.
Next job is to turn on one by one the "Extensions".
Yep, nearly all won't work on either the new forum or the new PHP. ................... a job in progress............. eventually the Extensions will be updated to run on the forum but till then I'll try hacking into software to get an acceptable result!!!
PS, you can change the style by going into your control panel and then board preferences & scroll down & changing prosilver to Orange or vice-versa??!!

That's what I thought as well Shirley.
I don't mind how it is, I just thought that I had done something wrong and stuffed it.

I can live with whatever format but preferred the simplicity of just the blue. That said the latest 'dayglo green' tabs at the top are a bit hard on the eyes Bruce. Ha ha. .......... but if it keeps you off the streets & out of Wendy's hair ..... go for it.
