Rain

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Remember after 2011 a couple of retired engineers drew up a plan, and costed it to put a 80 k pipeline to the dam up Murgon way (forgotten the name of it), huge pipeline and pumps. And raise the wall of the fogotten name dam by quite a bit. Flood times, pump the water up the hill to the other dam. Drought times, let it run back down the pipe. Pretty simple huh ? Cost $3 billion. Way too expensive they screamed.

Can we still say that after blowing billions on covid ?

Unfortunately, a large number of the homes flooded would not have insurance as the insurance companies class them as being in a flood zone so don't offer insurance or increase the fees to an unaffordable level.

I hear Warragamba dam is already spilling giga ltrs over the spillway, just a trickle compared to what is coming, but the river is already up, so I hope Peter has his gumboots ready if he's staying in the flood plains of Chipping Norton .... there is a reason that was the market garden area for Sydney after all.

Chipping Norton is also where Ivan Milat used to live and hang out.

I heard on the radio about 30 minutes ago that all residents and businesses of Chipping Norton have been asked to prepare to evacuate.

Sounds like Peter is going to have to wait a bit longer for a functioning sound system. Stay safe everyone.

Thought it was the little village of Minimurra near Kiama, or was that where they found his rifle hidden in the wall cavities .... or am I getting mixed up with another serial killer?
