Thanks Derek, it's pretty much the same on the GC.

T1, that's very good. I'm pinching that line.
Likewise!! 😁😁😁

What we have been paying recently:
7 March Glen Aplin 1.869c/ litre
8 March Guyra 1.889c/litre
16 March Mudgee 2.27/litre
17 March Willowtree 2.199c/litre
18 March Glen Innes 2.279c/litre

The fuel consumption in the Iveco is crap and it’s only a 100l tank so we need to fill regularly.

Lesley,
what sort of mileage is it getting?

I get about 4.9k's per litre in the bus.

I think we are doing better than your bus but it is frustrating that the fuel tank is so small. We seem to fill up every day. Don’t know how (or am too llazy) to rework your figures.

Jon, getting around 16-18 l/q100 towing the Suzi but it is VERY hilly in this area. Doesn’t really affect our budget (what is that?) but annoying that we have to refill so often.

4.9 ks per litre.
100 /4.9 = 20.4 litres per 100 ks.

going backwards,
100ks / 20.4l = 4.9 ks per litre.

100ks/17l = 5.88 ks per litre. So, you're still getting about 550 ks per tank. That's a lot of miles for each day.

True. Thanks for the calcs. I just find it frustrating that we have to refill so often. The Landcruiser would easily do 700kms towing a 3.2t van. 138l tank. The Suzi behind the MH only adds about 1l/100km but this hilly terrain chews the juice.

Anyway, I’m slowly coming to terms with the advantages of a MH.

Just about 1l/100 without the car Dot. We are Light Rigid 5.2kg. Not sure about the combined weight but within specs we think.
