Home Essentials

Post by Greynomad »

No homeowner can hold their head high…
…unless they can boast of owning this homeware essential:
Coathangers.jpeg

A $49.00 cardboard carrier for your empty coathangers!

I'm sure your Mum will be over the moon on Mother's Day when she unwraps this!

:? We just hang our empty hangers over the laundry tap…
where they'll be at hand when we hang the next load of washing out.

Now, having saved yourself from the shame of not having a coathanger caddy bag, you must update your social creds by ordering this:

An electric bucket to warm your towels!!
Towel Warmer.jpeg
NOW you can once again hold your head high at your next social gathering!

I just had one of these installed to be safer during power blackouts.

Give one of these to people that use a bucket for peeing in during the night rather than heading to the toilet blocks

I WANT ONE!!
Must upgrade Girt’s ordinary diesel genny to maximise the toxic fumes, so that next time someone insists on parking right next to us in an empty 100acre paddock, I can light up to persuade them to move away.

I love the special deal, only $319.99, regular price $249.99  and the instructions on the special mix of diesel and petrol to get the maximum affect .... so you'll have to get rid of that diesel generator and put in the petrol one .....

You dont need the expense of a diesel generator.
When they pull up close and they dont want to leave just asked to be excused as you need to go to the toilet.
After a short while emerge with a milk bottle of weak orange cordial and empty in a wave pattern towards their direction and explain that you feel a lot better now.
They usually decide to move way quickly.
Worked a few times for me. Always carried some cheap orange cordial for the job.

Had a great experience during one Qld trip.
Camped at the Longreach riverside campground. Fairly busy, but people respected each other’s space. Came back from shopping to find a Ford Transit m/h had squeezed in between us and our neighbour… on our generator side.
He was so close he couldn’t extend his awning. Just enough room to walk past his open door.
After packing away our goods, I fired up the genny — with the exhaust directly opposite their door.
It took about 30 seconds before we had a knock on our door, a red-faced chap demanding we shut down the generator.
I calmly explained that we were having battery problems and needed to run it for 3~4 hours to recharge.
He stamped off & slammed his door. Three and a half hours later I shut it off.
Next day they went off, and upon returning parked alongside our next door neighbour on the other side. He had a Coaster towing a trailer with a soundproof compartment for his generator. We had discussed the performance of the previous evening, as he had unavoidably witnessed the exchange at our door.
The Transit had parked very close to our neighbour, so he removed his generator from its compartment and placed it at his front bumper — on the Transit’s side — then knocked on his door to explain that he was having battery problems and would be running his generator until 9:00pm.
True to his words, at 8:59pm the generator fell silent. 😀
Next day the Transit moved 50m down the park to an area which had been empty right from the day he arrived. 🙄
