Cashew’s revenge

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Cashew’s revenge

Post by Greynomad »

Shopping t’other day I slipped a bag of honey roasted cashews into the trolley unobserved by SWMBO… until after they had gone through the cash register. 😀

Pigged out over the past two nights. Now I have the Best Seat in the House… lousy view, though. ☹️

On one of the many trips from Lake Illawarra to Mannum in the truck, I up-ended a bag of fruit and nut mix spilling it through the cab. When the young lady at border check asked if I had any friut on board I told her there was a whole bag of fruit and nut scattered through the cab and she was welcome to confiscate them. A big laugh and told dried fruit didn't count, then told me about a bloke passing through only an hr or so before. He'd eaten a 5 kg bag of cashews because he didn't want to surrender them, she didn't have the heart to tell him they were quarantine exempt, but recommended he find a room with an on-suite and book in for a few days, she didn't expect the 5 kgs of cashews to make it past Pinaroo, roughly 6 km away
