VHS tapes to DVD

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

VHS tapes to DVD

Post by Macca »

I do not own a VHS player and I want to put all my Elvis tapes to DVD. I am assuming firstly I will have to buy a VHS player if that is still possible!
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Might be better to get them on a thumb stick.

Better to get multiple smaller thumb drives, they are prone to failure and loosing 16Tb could really spoil your day ;)

"tanks" here---
I can lend you my DVD/CD player to save you trying to buy a machine.
You pay for return postage from Dysart.

Keith I think from memory that those machines can't actually copy a VHS to CD or DVD. Be OK for her to just watch them.
There was a person here in Murray Bridge was offering to copy VHS tapes to digital for $5 a week or so ago.
Once you have it in digital format it's pretty easy to burn to disc if needed.
