MY Mr MAJOR.

Post by Keith Morris »

The Vet visited to attend Major for his advanced Lymphoma Cancer today.
He went to sleep in my arms quietly and very relaxed, he licked my hand a few times and wagged his tail just before the end.

MAJOR - - - R.I.P. - - - SEPTEMBER 2022.

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep
Then you must do what must be done
For this last battle can't be won

We've had so many happy years
What is to come can hold no fears
You'd not want me to suffer so
When the time comes please let me go

Take me to where my needs they'll tend
Only stay with me until the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see

Don't grieve that it should be you
Who has to decide this thing to do
We've been so close, we two these years
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.

Major had a wonderful life with you, Keith.
He knew he was secure and loved.
It’s a hard decision to make, but his time had come.
Our prayers are with you.

From both of us. 🙏
Regards & God bless,
Ray
