Ray....

Last time I heard, he was weighing up the situation. Watching the tit for tat happening.

“HUMBLE (n)
Having a low estimate of one’s abilities or importance.”(OED)

IN MY OPINION… Dottie doesn’t qualify — on either score.
At least, I have never witnessed it.
Kindness and fun-loving, good company; yes! Seen that.
🫢

(Sorry, Dottie, but sometimes the truth hurts. 🙏)

Come to think about it, I reckon I wouldn’t qualify either…
😁

Thank You Ray :D Although being humiliated on a regular basis, I don't think that adds points to my humble rating either, hard to judge one's self on these thinks, so I'll leave it to others to determine .... claiming you are humble might be an oxymoron really .....

Correct, Terry!
Boasting about being humble is the definition of ‘oxymoron’.

Is acknowledging that you were wrong being humble?

I would say it depended on the level of peer pressure and evidence as to the level of humility and whether it became humiliation rather than being humble.

Nah, it gives them an outlet to take out what ever frustration they want in a humorous way .... still don't know if I'd fit the humble definition after reading through the synonyms, I'll be spending a few hrs on Google just to find out what they mean
