I have to re-stick it every month.
Maybe you aren't holding your mouth right Ray, we have two of them and they don't give any problems at all. We did give the surfaces a good clean down with metho before attaching them and the tiles are glazed, maybe that is the difference.

Been there, done that.
High-glaze tiles & glass shower screen cleaned with spray on glass cleaner, polished with a clean lint-free cloth — meticulously after the first failure — and it still lets go one or other of the four suction cups after about a month.
Even the two cups attached to the glass shower screen can’t stay stuck.

Coat the suction cup with a very thin film of olive oil.

We use them extensively in the MH but do give them a regular shove as we see the red line becoming more exposed. We don’t use them for anything heavy.

Are you using the good German brand or the cheap copies? There are also two styles one fore smooth walls and one for porous walls. Use the wrong one and you have trouble. No problems with ours so far. Also remember to give the wall a good clean with alcohol.

RnB,
Don’t know who made them, but they were a K-Mart buy, not Aldi.
From memory, the box said not to use them on porous or matte tiles, which I thought was logical.
All suction cups rely on a good seal to maintain the pressure imbalance between the internal air and normal air pressure outside them.

Just for clarification on my towel rail mounts:
the chrome strip Jon thought was a hinge is actually just one of two decorative pieces running the full height of the sliding door.

It requires a small detachable handle to operate.
Hunting through the front bin for it is a PITA, so I’ve added a tool clip inside the door to hold it and the awning release rod. 😀

Bought a circular cutting board at the ‘Large W’ store, knowing it was 1.5cm too big. Routed it down to size & put a bevel on the underside to fit sink profile.
Over the sink it enlarges the work surface available. I managed to retain a small lip on the top so food doesn’t fall off.
Flipped over it locks into the drain board of the sink for either cutting food or draining dishes. (Slots on underside are for stress relief — inhibits warping.)

And there I was, about to congratulate you on your fine metalwork skills ;) Looks good Ray 8-) it will be interesting to see how often it gets used as a cutting board compared to how often it is actually used to plug the sink to increase the bench area ;) :D

T1,
Had the same in Girt, but easier to make, as the sink was square with a radius at the corners. 😀
It was comprehensively scored when we sold her.
The bonus application is to hide unwashed dishes in the sink… 😜
