WAS CRAPPY news NOW GOOD news Re. Ray aka Greynomads thread

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

WAS CRAPPY news NOW GOOD news Re. Ray aka Greynomads thread

Post by Dot »

Tonight I had a call from Joy also known as Ray's Greynomads better half, she has given me permission to let Rays forum friends know that he has had some bad news re his health and both he and Joy are trying to absorb the bad news. I will not go into the nitty gritty details and will leave it up to Ray to disclose the exact diagnosis when he is ready. In the meantime if you want to leave any messages to them both you can leave them here.

I will start by sending love and support to them both in this crappy time for them . As Ray would say "God Bless" Dot & George xx

Hi Ray and Joy. So sorry to her you have some health problems Ray. We know the stress with appointments and the waiting. Wishing you both all the best. John and Faye

Thank you one and all.
Had some pretty rigorous tests yesterday. Today I'm feeling like something the cat dragged in… then tossed out. :(
More tests next Tuesday & Thursday.
Only after those results are in the surgeon's hands will I know what's going to happen.
I'll keep Dottie posted, and she can inform you all. I may not be well enough to post.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Hang in there mate.
It's better on the other side means the arrival of survival, not meeting the maker.
I can personally vouch for surviving 2 bouts of cancer and recently some heart problems that had me thinking "This is it".
( Solved that one by fitting a pacemaker ) and I'm still ready to make mayhem, but just a little slower.
A couple of songs came to mind when I read the news.
"Don't give up" and "Look on the Bright side"
I know it's corny but a clear purpose mindset gave me a great result.
I'm still hanging in for the 100 Telegram and I'd like to know I'm not the only one with that desire/ purpose.
So as I wrote
Hang in there mate

Won't be able to send you a couple of bottles of next vintage if you ain't around Ray, and it is going to be a boomer, so you had better hang in there.
