Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone from the banks of the Tara lagoon.
It's a rather cool 7 deg here at the mo'. There are 5 or 6 vans and one big m/h clustered together around the power box.
For a $10 /n fee you can get power. The toilets and hot showers are free. Have noticed that quite a few rest areas out here in SW Qld now have decent showers and toilets, as opposed to the long drops of years gone by.
I hope all those on the sick list are on the improve.
Safe travels everybody, have a great day.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
There was a shower last night but not enough to wet the rain gauge.
The outside temp is 20.8c at 07:15am. Could this be right. I don't feel cold and the inside temp reading is the same.
I am off to Mackay Base Hospital today for CT Lung Scan, and a talk with the Specialist.

Charleville is forecasting a fine & sunny day, with a max of 24. Currently 7.
Last night we had 24 m/homes & vans at the CM%^ bush campground. 14 couples attended Happy Hour at the firepit. Most of the travellers here are in caravans. And the majority are members, according to the camp host.
Looks like the character of CM%^ may be changing... there’s another push for vanners to be full voting members (again!). One day it will get up.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Morning all 14 c heading to 19c again overcast and early evening showers expected.

Good afternoon at Red Pole winery but not good enough that we would rush back. Music was great as expected and good company but food was not exceptional enough to say yes we will be back. The lasses serving were on the ball, polite and great to chat to but run off their feet. Felt the place was over book for the staff numbers and the kitchen slow on meal preparation. Management needs a good look at it self and to reorganise and update their recording, payment procedure.

Of to look at the model train exhibition at the greyhound pavilion, from photos I have seen looks like a few good hours.

Take care and drive safely on this Queens birthday, cheers Robert

Good morning everyone from beautiful downtown Coombabah on the Gold Coast. We got home just before afternoon school pick-up time, so that was good.
A funny thing happened on the way though, we had to go down a couple of gears to go up a hill. :D Had almost forgot what it was like after driving around on the flat lands for the past month or so. The littlest gkid has been looking after the lawns, but there is still a fair bit of gardening to do. Got some new neighbours across the street while we were away too. Have a great day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
