Australian Trivia Only

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We passed through Ariah Park coupla days ago.
“The Town That Time Forgot” ... sometime in the 1920s.
Great looking camping area, too!

Hello again, everyone.
Since RnB has not posted anything since winning the virtual cigar a month ago, try this one for size:

Where would you find the Big Rosella??? (plant, not bird)

"tanks" here---
I found a big rosella in a jar of rosella jam. Does that qualify as an answer.
Keith.

Tanks,
Sorry, I said plant, not jam… although I do like the jam.

Shirley,
Got it in one!
It’s on the road between Bauple & Woolooga. So I’ll accept your answer.
A farmer has built a giant Rosella flower by the roadside.
So Shirley gets the virtual cigar thing this time. 😁

🤔 As it’s on a ‘road less travelled’ I thought it might take a while for someone to get it… 🙁

Ray, my sister use to live at Bauple, the folk there use to call macadamia nuts, Bauple nuts, she brought us a tree down in a jam tin, 15 years later it was huge & always produced heaps of nuts. :)

As I have never smoked, would prefer something else as my virtual prize please.

Ok as long as it's GF.

We had to line up to get the jab today, waited about half hour but we were allowed to wait the 10 minutes sitting in the car as there were two of us & it was our second one, gave us proof that we are vaccinated.

Ray, you're out & about have you another trivia question please or anyone else have a question?

Geez, Shirley,
You’re making me work too hard!

OK, try this on for size:

Lieutenant James Cook’s first voyage of discovery saw him establish that NZ was two islands, and not part of the mysterious Great Southern Continent.
He went on to chart the east coast of Australia before claiming the lot for the Empire.
Q1. What were his Second Voyage instructions?
Q2. What ship sailed with him?
