These are real torque wrenches

This is field use torque wrench
torque wrench.jpg
And these are industrial torque wrenches
Hydraulic torque wrench.jpg
The 2 larger units are similar to the ones we used at Bluescope Steel to tighten the flange bolts on the hot gas valves and at Favco Favell to tighten the ring gear to the crane base when testing the new cranes before delivery.

I wish I had a photo of the torque wrench that we had to use when I was a young fella in the railway workshops. It was over 6 feet long and took two blokes just to lift it. It is probably in the Maldon Goldfields Railway workshop somewhere. Most of the stuff from our old workshop seemed to be there when we did a tour a few years back.

Um....
T1,
I don’t think the hydraulic wrenches count.
In this page, size matters!
However, I will concede to your wrench on the tractor. 😳
David,
If you can find a photo of one of those railway torque wrenches, you’ll ace T1’s tractor job!
😜

Gee a long time since I have heard of Malvern Star. Was a popular bike in their days but have not seen one for years
