New drone landing area.

Post by BernieQ2 »

Today I found time to finally put the solar panel on the "new" roof rack on the Jeep.
It's a 250w panel.it will supplement the 250w panel on the caravan

Don't know why more folk don't put solar panels on their tow vehicles.

I think they get knocked off a bit, by that I mean stolen, easier to snip wires off the lower vehicle. Everything is fair game these days.

You would need a couple of good spanners and a stepladder Dot...Its a long way to the top of the Jeep...plus they have lock-nuts on them . AND will only be on when travelling .

I've been hearing about people's fears of 'loose/portable' panels being stolen for years Dot, but have never once heard of a first hand account of it happening .... not to say it hasn't happened now & then. Have certainly never heard of fixed panels being pinched.

If anyone wanted to steal ours off the car roof, good luck to 'em it would be far from easy!
