As far as the seniors health care card .... I didn't realise that you can apply for it at 60 yrs old, so I missed out on the discounts for 5 yrs

Not only discounts Terry, but the concessions on services etc amount to a lot of savings in the pocket.

I only discovered when I was 64 that I was able to get one. Which I duly did. The Qld gubment sent me another for my 65th birthday last year. Dont think Centrelink will be sending me anything.
