As I'm about 70 odd k's from Cowell where in SA would be the closest place to source said belts.

Ummm...... Bruce???? I know places in Murray Bridge and Adelaide, but I don't even know where Cowell is :lol:

Cowell is about 50? Km south of Whyalla. (According to my unreliable memory.) Great oysters there!! 😁
See if there’s an auto parts place in Whyalla.
Failing that, hunt out a mechanic there who might know a supplier.

Pord Agudda, if not Whyalla. ((The way locals call Port Augusta) Port Augusta is the staging point for all transport heading to WA and NT from Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. Plenty of support for large vehicles there.

Yes JG.

As suggested I loosened the pulley and reduced the slack and tightened.
