Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I reckon 18 loo rolls will last a while . Stay sane Dot xxxx

We have just learnt that there have been a few cases of the virus confirmed at the Armidale Uni, so they had to cancel our next weekend of sales. As some of our customers were from the uni, we are staying close to the van for a while. As far as travel, well now we are very undecided as to which way to go. If we go home, that is the very safe option. If we travel, how far will we actually get before we come to closed borders? So we are undecided as yet.

good night one and all xxx

Don't think they will close the borders Deborah, they want people to support the out back towns so as long as you keep mostly to yourselves and be careful where you go all will be good. We will be heading off in June hoping this time it will be better than last year.(I have enough loo paper to last) Kangaroos don't need loo paper!! ;) ;) Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Craig x :D

Dot, they may not actually close the borders, but make it difficult to travel. Council owned parks in Qld are refusing to allow any new arrivals, this is the start of stopping us from travelling. Some of the bigger showgrounds in Qld are now only accepting members of the travelling show groups, as not all of them have homes to return to, and all of their shows are now cancelled, So not only do they have no homes or income, but nowhere to stay, except a few showgrounds that have made agreements with their union. Obviously your quarries and brick pits will still be available, so maybe you can still travel xxxx

After reading about the Qld closures, we decided that our best option is to slowly head home. As soon as one area decides this is the way to keep unwanted germs away, we expect many more to follow. My first thought had to be to head for Cairns, as the virus doesn't survive in the heat. Then we thought about being stuck in Qld, if the borders do get closed. Not something we want to see. So we are at Tamworth tonight and probably for the weekend, then we will slowly drive home via as many op shops as we can find. This will help me to collect as many jewellery pieces for my upcycling projects to keep me busy while we are stuck at home.

sweet dreams out there xxx

Both you & G aren't up to fighting off any bug & I'm sure the people 'out there' don't want or need carriers bringing bugs to town either.
Honestly, that is how it spreads throughout the country.
Good points there Brucie2.
Dot, even the NT has closed all of its National Parks and the big rock in the middle is looking like being closed to non indigenous peoples. Take care mate xxxx

Today we hit the Tamworth op shops. I found a huge box of jewellery in a Red Cross shop labelled 4 pieces for @10. Well I spent $80, I reckon I have enough to upcycle now for the rest of the year. Our plan is to drive towards home tomorrow, via several op shops that we know are good, just to add to the pile of temptation to get me back to my shed,

If and when we travel we will not be doing anything within cooee of people, I just want to stop and rejuvenate somewhere isolated and quiet. Then there all the others out on the roads that are even worse off than me , HTFFBO, Pet-els to name a couple then there are those with cardiac conditions. As everyone knows I take enough pe prepared meals to last a good length of time and even then we usually bring some food home  Have a couple of places in WA on a station that sees no one for years. Chill you lot we haven't made any plans yet see how this pans out. I have enough toilet paper to last weeks, and remember roos need none ;) We have been home over a week now and I have not been out but tomorrow I have CT then home. Was a nasty day today, wind dust and hot. If you go home Deborah at least you will be warm in the lair. Where did Kappy head off to? Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bob n Bev x :D
