Lesley, were you driving at the time?
If you were; make sure they replace the air cleaner at the next service. (or even earlier if you can.)

That photo was taken by Erich out the front of Terry’s workshop but the dust storm was wide spread.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I love the personal protection that you are undertaking. Nothing like having nursing experience and knowing how to treat yourself. Stay sane in your isolation wing (or is that the new name for the bus?)
xxxx
We arrived home late yesterday, left the van hitched up to the truck, in the driveway, unloaded the fridge and then fell into bed. Had the best night's sleep since we left home. I think we have been tossing and turning with indecision the whole time we were away. There have been so many different stories that we have heard, so for now, we are home. Of course that means that I will have the winter to work in my shed instead of being out on the road, so anything could happen here now.

That's a bit of a nuisance for you Deb, considering what your travel plans were. At least you are home safe.
Some of us are stuck in places that aren't the best. I am stuck at my in-laws because my wife is a bit concerned about them.

Stay hidden in your secret brick pit Dot, nobody will find you there xxxx
Not a nuisance David, just disappointing. At least we are home with all the mod cons and my shed too. If this continues for the 6 months that Scomo said tonight, my problems are very small. So many Australians rely on the income from tourism and businesses will close, never to open again. Not a good time at all for so many people. I am expecting to see the rate of domestic violence sky rocket, sadly it will happen because of so many factors with this damn virus. We will survive, but at what cost?
Hope all of us can remain sane and calm,

Yep, good morning Dot. xxxx
Had another day sorting stuff from the van and finding places to stash 6 months worth of drugs....Prescription drugs, that is, and with their use by dates written in big numbers on the end of each box. I dont understand why the numbers have to be so tiny and invisible on so many drugs.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Keep smiling Dot xxxx
We went shopping today. Woolies shelves were full of tinned foods, but they are refusing to sell any of it. I put a few tins on the counter and was very rudely told that we could only buy two things of any group of products. So after a tin of corn and another of tomatoes, that was all the tinned veg that we could have. So I left him to buy what the girl allowed, grabbed the remainder and went to another checkout. That caused a ruckus. Management were called, I was treated like a thief and then I was allowed to purchase another two tins of veg. As there were plenty on the shelves, I reckon this is encouraging people to go around and buy from all the different shops. They are making it a false economy and have lost us to their shop for a very long time. The fresh veggies were very tired looking and triple the price from last week and of course the price of meat has spiralled. We may need to buy food, but we will remember who tried to rip us off the most once this all boils over.
