Yes Dot, the sun is appearing, but the flamin freezer has been left open. xxxx
In the lovely sunlight, I did some more soldering and was domesticated as well. so it's been a bit of a long day and the electric blanket should have the bed warm by now.
Good night one and all xxx

I would blame Bruce if the freezer was left open esp if the ice cream was all gone
Have had a request for a spaniel x needing a home, friends dog died and just wants another one asap. We are off to the block tomorrow to follow up on the weeds seeing as it is supposed to be a warmer day. Even got the washing dry today
The last few days I have had to carry Brian outside, he loves snuggling down under the doona but today he had a sleep in the sun. Time to head off to bed, Goodnight everyone x

Dot, that pussy of yours is getting spoilt again xxxx
Still doing stuff on the other side of the window now. All the pieces are wrapped in copper foil now, so tomorrow may be the start of the soldering...depends on how long it takes a tradie to visit us and fix the sliding glass door. I think it needs new runners/rollers/wheels, whatever they have.,
sleep well xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Went to the block today and did a bit more weed killing, in the time we went there last a few mongrel calthrops had sprouted and had their prickles already to spread their nasty seeds but I dug them out and bought them home and cremated them.
It was a nice warm day for a change but guessing the rain and cold won't be far away. I ate a crepe tonight
no taste but the thought was there
Bed time so goodnight everyone x

Dot, how far away from home is the block? Good to see you trying different foods, hoping the taste returns soon xxxx
Spent today hanging around waiting for a tradie. 10am appointment, but he came at 4pm. He did fix the sliding glass door for our tenant, but what a waste of a day. We went to the tenant's place to see her lovely fresh painted walls and saw the door couldn't be fully shut. She doesn't seem to have any common sense, I couldn't sleep in a house where the doors are not properly locked. She is safer tonight,, but only because we try to be responsible adults/landlords.

Long day Dot? xxxx
I'm slowing down on my project, as I am slowly running out of solder, so have a wait for the postman to deliver more. Did a bit of phone socialising this afternoon. I just needed to hear anyone else's voice. Been a long time, stuck at home, but we are still breathing. yay

Deborah the block is about an hr from home but the roads are a tad squiggly but rather pretty country side. With tradies if I get a specific time from them to arrive and they don't ring to say "sorry running 2 hrs late is that OK? If no ph call when /if they turn up then I politely tell them to "go away" the job has been done. Expecting strong winds tonight so I guess that is the end of nice weather again. Had bloods done this morn, didn't feel a thing just a little prick
Anyway having visitors tomorrow Guess who??? Did you feel the boom from your place Tanks?? Goodnight everyone x

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

My son flew to Moranbah Monday & fortunately was at another mine in the area, he knew nothing about the explosion event, sure is a dangerous industry, praying the 5 fellows survive.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Had a better day today, actually got to laugh YES it was HTFFBO and Paul arrived at lunch time and stayed for a few hrs.
She went home to a torn awning but no wonder with the winds we have been having lately. Had a great result with my animal quests, found my friend a particular dog that needed a home and then a home for another friend whos mum died and he was unable to take her cat but all ok now
Now going to do our homework on those dolly trailers and flipping our GV and car homework. Busy busy we shall be so Goodnight everyone x
