Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, if I remember correctly NSW had a low speed limit when using a dolly trailer.

Low speed would suit Dot, give Mr G a chance to run faster. Night all. Cheers

Glad Helen gave you a few laughs Dot xxxx

Another day at the salt mine here. The window job seems to be dragging now, even though it is starting to look pretty good, there si still a lot more to do before it can go up in the actual window.

I need to thaw out now, so that electrified bed is waiting to warm my tootsies.

Night all xxx

HTFFBO sure wore me out yesterday so buggered today. G rang the Transport gurus about the use of dolly trailers, the man assured him they were OK in all states & territories so who knows for real? Just had a huge down pour so guess there is more on the way. Personally I think the borders may be opening too soon, think we shall wait a bit longer before venturing too far, what ever this virus is /does we don't know. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NC George x :D

Dot, you are so right about not rushing to leave home too soon. It's ok for those germ ridden pollies to tell us that we are free to travel. I think it's their way of thinning out the elderly community..you know the drain on the tax payer etc. xxxx

Had a non event day today. We both woke with grumpy heads, so slept all of our legal drugs off and our heads are a little bit less achy now. Our daughter sent a lovely mothers day pressie today. It was a huge box of fruit n vegs, enough to last us a couple of weeks. Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of anythings that we don't eat, just a lot of stuff. The fridge is now full to the brim.

News from NZ, my friend sent this to me and still more stuff happening. he he I lived at Tokoroa 1975
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
North Shore, Rodney & West Auckland Police

Police have arrested five people and have seized methamphetamine and hundreds of thousands in cash after a series of search warrants in Auckland and Tokoroa.

This morning, Police officers from the National Organised Crime Group carried out 10 search warrants at addresses across Auckland and in Tokoroa.

The search warrants were part of an ongoing operation into the distribution of methamphetamine.

Today’s search warrants follow an initial search of a West Auckland address last Friday which recovered a small quantity of methamphetamine, approximately $300,000 in cash and five firearms –three rifles including a military-style assault rifle and two shotguns.

Following a series of additional search warrants today, Police located another $100,000 in cash and seized a further amount of methamphetamine.

Five men have been arrested and are appearing in the Auckland and Tokoroa District Courts facing a number of charges including, Possession of methamphetamine for supply, Conspiracy to deal Methamphetamine, Supplying Methamphetamine, Money Laundering, Unlawful possession of firearms and Participation in an Organised Criminal Group.

Detective Inspector Colin Parmenter, National Organised Crime Group, says Police are committed to disrupting the chain of methamphetamine and other illegal drugs, which cause immeasurable harm.

“Throughout the lockdown period, Police have continued to work hard to hold organised criminal groups and drug offenders to account.

“We will continue to work tirelessly in this space and arrest those responsible, who have absolutely no regard for the significant damage these drugs cause in our community, with often those vulnerable most affected,” says Detective Inspector Parmenter.

Anyone with information about drug offending or other criminal activity is urged to contact Police by phoning 105 or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously by phoning 0800 555 111.

Good to see the kiwis are still catching serious crims xxxx

Been a warm wet, windy, cold day today. Sort of melbum weather, take your pick, it happened here today and now it's freezing too. After a slow start on the project, I gave up once the fancy solder ran out. There are other things that I could be doing on the window, but as it got colder, my enthusiasm sort of froze too.

Off to that warm bed now, so Happy Mother's Day to all of the mums, grandmas, nannas and nonnas out there

Woman of few words there knackered Dot xxxx

Didn't do much of anything today, just one of those days. Hung around waiting for our dinner to be delivered from 2pm. It was the rest of daughter's mothers day pressie. The time slot allocated was 2-5. Finally at 6, she received an email to say they were running late. So we had dinner of toast with peanut butter and finally the seafood arrived at 8:30 . The package was meant to be 1 kilo of huge prawns, a couple of dozen oysters and some Balmain bugs. They ran out of bugs so there were 3 doz oysters and they threw in a kilo of whiting because they had stuffed our order. I am glad that I didn't have to prepare all that stuff today, so tomorrow I will be doing oysters killing Patrick, peeling prawns and frying up some whiting. Seems like I get the extra work every time.
