Yep still cold down here and the fire has not been out for days. Did absolutely zilch today apart from having a shower Watching the show" The worlds toughest jails" this time it is Sherriff Joes tent city in the desert Arizona and I love it, they need those jails here. hobbles and chains as you work out in the burning sun for 8 hrs and that is the females and only allowed to go to the loo once and that is before they start work.. I had another kiln day, and even firing up the kiln was not enough to get my bones warm. Trying to make another crazy sculpture/vase, tomorrow will tell if it has come out right. I think we will have to go shopping tomorrow, the freezer is looking very empty.

This is winter, right? Well it's blooming cold here. The night's are down to 8 degrees for the rest of this week. It really is time we were much further North. It feels strange being home in July. Oh well, bit the bullet and did a woolies shop today. I had a list of things that our little shop doesn't carry, so all have been bought. So probably wont return to woolies for a long while.

Filled the kiln with another weird sculpture to fry soon. This is one that I have made several times over and it's having its 7th run through the kiln. It was fun hitting with the hammer to smash it up to start again. Soon I will be happy with it, I hope.

Instead, we’re freezing our vital parts off at home, with overnight temperatures in negative figures!!
Champing at the bit waiting for Qld & SA to open their borders for us germ-laden Victorians to flood across & pollute their nice clean cities.
Funny, Rutherglen has had NIL cases here on the border.
If NSW decided to lock its borders, we’d be in DEEP DO-DOs, as we have medical care on the other side of the river, as well as our grocery supplier.

Deb and Ray, I can tell you it’s not very warm here in Maryborough. Woke to BOM telling me it’s 3.8 degrees, feels like 0.8. So enjoy your nice warm houses down south as ours are not built for the cold. [emoji3063]
