Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Have fun in Gawler Robert, Back to the heater on again tonight. Got some of the fruit trees thinned out a bit but the mongrel mozzies thought I would taste good so after I had done nothing but itch and swat for 10 minutes or so I gave up and smothered the stingoes on so now for a shower .so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bobr x :D

Hope you put more stingose on after that shower Dot. Have fun. xxxx

RobertnotBob is it raining in Gawler? Oh well , enjoy your day drip

Her is a bit of what the craziness is happening around here. This is bits on the kiln shelf
IMG_1416.JPG
IMG_1406.JPG
Can you see there are tiny scraps of kiln paper everywhere that I dont want the bits to stick to each other? PITA
next is after firing and being lifted off the shelf
IMG_1412.JPG
This is after they have had a shake and sorted into separate links of the chains
IMG_1410.JPG
The load that came out of the kiln today were all easily separated, so happy with that. They next lot that were made today will get fired soon. Each chain gets hung from a mosaic-ed bit of glass by a thin string of wire.

Just putting all the pieces onto the shelf with the tiny scraps of paper to divide them takes me hours.
Not mentally deficient, but maybe deranged.

Deborah, one day, when it gets a bit normal, it would be good to get to one of your markets so I can check out some of your work. It looks interesting.
Cheers

Dot, you been domesticated too much mate. xxxx

David, maybe next year we will go back to our "normal" schedule and will have a market at Anakie and Rockhampton in early August. You will have to plan a special get away for those big markets! That's all that we do in Queensland and then there is the one that Peter found, it's in Panthers at Port Macquarie, usually late October. I promise to warn you all of each market, if we ever get to do them again.

Slavedriver Dot, our house is starting to run out of places for me to hide all the breaky stuff. Today I had a good sleep in, so kiln wasn't fired. It felt weird, but I needed the sleep. Back to the salt mine tomorrow.

nighty night xxx
