Dot, maybe we should be trying to drink old red too then? A bit of oblivion might be good some days. xxxx

I had one of those days when I should have stayed in bed. Went to a chiropractor appointment, only to find she had double booked, so had to fill in an hour and return. The hour was spent at the hammer shop, trying to find a replacement grevillea. Forget that. They had no decent shrubs at all. I did buy a couple of what they are marketing as dragon's breath. They are very bright red celosia, which I bought for the colour and not the name. I had been looking for a splash of red for the front garden and that fits the spot nicely.
Once finished at the chiro and back home, we both had massive headaches. Hammer shop had a strong chemically smell today. That wiped out his nibs for the rest of the day. I did the electrical work and to my limited knowledge, there seems to be no wires disconnected, so it may be something out of my control. I did notice the control box was quite hot yesterday, so have put some blocks under it to get air circulating. Tomorrow I will try again to fire kiln and see what happens.
The rest of the day had me sleeping off the antihistamines too.

sleep well out there xxx

A JEEP   Oh Bernie those shingles must have got to your brain  I also went to my chiro on Thursday, good relief but the scar tissue in my neck is so tight and thick it causes the headaches. Also getting fluid retention because of no lymphatic nodules to drain the fluid away, never bloody well ending. Seeing the oncologist & surgeon this Monday so might get some answers? In the meantime I am getting over the All Blacks loss to Argentina today but we shall be back and this time to win :D Hope you are feeling better Deborah. Going to be a hot day tomorrow expecting 37 degs so stay cool everyone. Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x A JEEP!!!

Early night for Dot huh? Nah, you beat me to it  xxxx

I need one of them too. Had a kiln firing today and all went well. From that I have decided to move the controller box a bit further away from the kiln and as such It did a great job today. As well, I put it up on stilts for air circulation, so far so good.

Still got a thumper headache, ao off to bed

nighty night xxx

Dot, ask the surgeon about 'dry needling' on the scar tissue. My quack sent me to a physio that did some on the scar after I got my snapped Achilles repaired. It let it all relax enough that I dont walk with a limp anymore.

I will David, my physio does trigger point therapy but will ask the Drs. Still think they are opening the borders too soon but hey at least we aren't as stupid as those yanks refusing masks and the ginger ninja should of been arrested for him going into that cemetery that had rules of no mask no entry. One rule for the rich huh? gutless people I'm off to the shower now ready for a whole day in the city so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bob n Bev x :D
ps. Bobr At least you will be able to sell any holden in the future but not a hope in hell can be said for the Jeep. Oh hang on my dad had a Willies Jeep S/W back in the 60's, boy did he do some great donuts in the mud

Dot, if the borders weren't opened yet , we wouldn't be able to pop in and say g'day next week, would we?
I bet that you wish you still had that Willys. Strangely enough, I saw one last night. All done up. Looked like a cool ride!

Safe travels Dot...hope the right answers come after the questions that you may be asking. xxxx

Another day with kiln farting itself. Turned itself off a couple times during the firing time. So I have to keep tracking down to my shed to check the kiln is still getting hotter. I have requested a new kiln be built by our local kiln man, but I am probably pushing him too hard. My request was only a year ago and it's not like I am asking him to build it for free. ggggrrrr

goodnight one and all xxx
