Dot, enjoy the blood letting. Take care mate.
Deborah, a mob i worked for a few years ago now, would jack up the price on everything, but offered a 10% discount for cash. If they think they are getting a better deal, then its a win/win.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dave, I expect more than the 10% GST discount for cash, what about the income tax that is not being paid, so discount another 10%. If not prepared to go that far then I will pay the full price and get an invoice for the total stating the abn no. If the provider does not sell sufficient to require GST all well and good but that should be crossed out on the invoice.

Good morning to you and George. Have a happy birthday. MrfMajor and I are thinking of you both so enjoy the day.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
You are all correct about offering discount for cash and I usually can send customers to the nearest cash machine. Sadly many will say they will return with cash, but never do. I was confuddled by the square machine's statement. Apparently they only list the amount that I should pay for gst to save me working out 10% (obviously that is so difficult
). When the bank statement came out, they had not removed the gst and deposited all but their 1.5% charge. I think I will be adding a charge for card payments to help people to find the cash in their wallets, just so I can keep all of my hard earned. I am not a big business and really the profit is not very high at all. If sales pay for the glass, then I am happy.
Dot, more surgery so soon? Glad that you can get in and have it dealt with asap. Thinking of you mate xxxx
We arrived home safely yesterday, but a few thunder claps last night helped me to decide to go to bed instead of coming here to talk to you lot.
I fired up a bowl in the kiln today. I am happy to keep on making them now that I know I am onto a winner.

Deborah most business charge the extra 1.5% just make a clear sign what cards you accept and the added cost otherwise increase your charges by the amount.
Dot good luck and give us a call if you need a hand cheers Robert.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I am now suffering from the utter shock to my delicate body as a result of getting up far too early for my own good just to have blood stolen from me
Hoping to get to the block on Friday as the fencing man is going to be measuring up and most likely have some weeds to kill off again. Gunna be a dam hot one so won't be hanging around for too long. Off for a shower then hit the sheets to recover
Thanks Robert n bob for your offer if needed but I expect things to go swimmingly. Anyone got one of those humidifiers they don't use? Because my nose will be stuffed (literally) for a week or so I will have to mouth breathe so add that to my dry mouth I thought one of these machines may help a bit. Going to be a bit of a challenge but we shall make it work. Keep safe and cool everyone so goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, hope you don't bruise from that harsh treatment
Stay cool in that climate mate xxxx
I did the early start vampire thing last week, so had a follow up GP visit today. All is good, so no worries. Have some new drugs to collect from the chemist (legal ones) and then a stop off on the way home to visit woolies to get the freezer stoked up again with some protein. Chicken breast fillets were only $& a kilo , so of course I bought a few kilo to fill up the freezer shelf. Now we can eat meat again.
good night one and all xxx
