Just checked the rain gauge. 122mm at ours on the top end of the Gold Coast. The ocean has been raging all night.
We are going to try for a morning walk up around the point soon, poor old MrB never left the yard yesterday.
Bernie, I think your theory may be correct. Usually you or Bob have been posting when one of mine has got lost.
Good morning daily

Good morning, awake at 4am
, 21* and showers forecast. I will spend some more time upgrading house battery cabling after doing a search for my debit card which I noticed was missing yesterday

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Bernie, I thought you would be getting at least some of this rain in elsewhere. Bugga.
We started putting up some new blinds in the study yesterday. Accomplished not very much, hopefully get the same done today. It is shed weather here still, with more rain expected. I might try to aerate the front lawn today, between showers. Have a good day everybody, safe travels.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning all,
I was also up at 04:00... watching the meteor shower.
Started at 11:55 last night, but peak activity was given as 04:00, so went to bed with alarm set for 03:50.
Worth the effort! Watched about 30 meteors burn up in the high atmosphere in about 15 minutes.
Unfortunately my phone was incapable of getting a video which showed any stars at all.
Then it was back to bed for more shuteye until a reasonable time to arise.
