Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Back home, why don't many people say goodnight any more? My mum always said always say goodnight.. Had a lovely relaxing few days away and the little car went perfectly behind the bus.
Had HTFFBO and Paul for scones today and I won't tell you how many she had
Brian was as usual a good boy. Into your kiln work again Deborah
Well the borders are all putting the shutters up again, Just because it is christmas is NO reason to let the rules slide. Opened up too soon. Heading to the block tomorrow for rubbish removal. Time to say goodnight everyone x goodnight Tanks x
and Mr Major x
Safe travels everyone.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Welcome home Dot xxxx
Easy-ish decision was made this morning after we listened to a lot of new broadcasts. While we are still free to travel within NSW, one of the known cases has been listed as eating at 3 different eateries in Forster. I don't expect they will have kept their germs to themselves and it is just one risk too many for us. I rang the park and cancelled our booking. They were not rushing to offer a refund, because we don't have a stay at home order yet. The manager will be ringing us tomorrow to discuss the situation. It didn't help that we had over an inch of rain last night and the van is sinking into the backyard. It would have made a mess of our grass if we towed it out today. At least that is how we are trying to remain positive, by finding reasons to stay home.
We have done the right thing for the last 8 months, so to go on and put us into a risky situation, for the sake of a family holiday, seemed a bit silly to go ahead with our plans. Hopefully, this will keep us alive to enjoy a family Christmas next year and many more to come.

"tanks"here---Hello and good night Dot.
Major and I are well and we are having a quiet time at the Dysart Bunker.
If you have the time and you want/need a good belly laugh, google an "Audience with Billy Connolly".
Another good laugh is Jethro the British comedian, also located by google.
I had the first mango (Kensington Pride/Bowen) for the season today.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

You sure made the right decision not to go vanning Deborah, that's a lot of rain. Better to stay safe and sound in your own home.
Tanks I love Billy Connolly he is so out there, will be a sad day when he passes.
Was raining today so we never went to the block, will go another day to spray the weeds ie caltrop .
Tomorrow off to see GP for results and then down the highway to give our physio friend the oranges we bought from the riverlanders for her to make her jams for her foundation and give her her Xmas prezzie from NZ where she is from. Suppose I should do a bit of shopping for Gmans Xmas dinner
Bernie how is your nasty shingles doing? real mongrel of a condition esp the eye so you have been "lucky" in a way.
Time to hit the sack so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Bobr x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good to see you are so busy Dot. Stay sane-ish mate xxxx
More rain is falling as I type. Would not surprise me if his nibs finds another inch in the rain gauge tomorrow. It has been incessant, heavy showers for much of the day. This weather is good for just relaxing and staying warm, and not squashed in a 16 foot caravan.
The caravan park manager rang today. Offered us a full refund, and took off just enough to re-book for next year. We have the same site for the same days, because we are regulars at this time of the year. Don't think that we could complain about the response that we have had from the park. It would certainly be quagmire by now, as it is a very low lying park.
