Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Summerland Point comes under Central Coast Council I think which means Shirley is under the same restrictions.

Dottie,
Our 6YO ones seem to be just getting going...
They get an annual haircut after flowers die off.
Due now, but will have to wait until I have two functional wings — maybe 4~5 weeks...
Regards & God bless,
Ray

"tanks" here---Dot,
The bushes I have at the back of House 39, at Wylie are over 10 years old and are as high as the back fence (6ft) with trunks as thick as my arm.
They need a regular prune to mkeep them under control.
The plants would make a good hedge if you 'close plant' them.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, your orchard sounds amazing. Lavender bushes will last as long as you keep giving them a regular haircut on the new wood and don't hack into the thick woody bits (experience of doing too heavy prunes here and killing bushes) xxxx

I am not so sure of that, now, George, so will let Shirley answer for us.

The local drunks went out to another party so that was good, but the fireworks were another ridiculous issue. A few groups of entitled people thought they did not have to obey the rules. So they kept running out along wet, slippery jetties to light fireworks. They then ran back to shore , across the same slippery jetties to wait and watch maybe a few seconds of sparkly lights. About every third one refused to light so it was just a silly show of the rich people showing the plebs that they could do as they pleased. The "local" coppers would have been way to busy with other, more feral communities than to bother with a few firework infringements. The light shows and blasts lasted until way over 3am. They seemed to light up a few and disappear, then return about half an hour later and light some more. More money than sense is my thoughts, but also, how do they get the blasted things when we were not permitted to travel across borders for so many months of this year?

I am still catching up with reruns of things that have not had good fun in the kiln. Today's was a plate that is finally looking like a flat piece that is now ready to be turned into a bowl. Maybe do that tomorrow...depends on when I wake up and if the rain has slowed down enough.

sweet dreams out there xxx

Seems I am killing the lavender off then :( Quiet day apart from nearly choking again, tried some vegs and gravy, got a bit of cabbage under top denture and it was dangling down the throat. Trouble is I have trouble feeling stuff in thy gob. ;) watched the guy over the road ripping his house tiles off and replacing with metal roof, looking good. Off to the shower now so goodnight everyone x :D and goodnight HTFFBO 3/4 across the Nulla but have tail winds x :D

Dot is it too late to shove a lot of the bits from the ends of your lavender into water? They may sprout roots and be able to be grown up again. It wouldn't hurt to shove a few of the ends cuttings straight back into the dirt and water them, You may just re-fresh them then. Good luck with that xxxx

A quiet lair day, with even more rain. It really is becoming close to ark building weather. We will be right. So far the lake has not come into our backyard, but it is rather sodden underfoot.

night all xxx
